We just finished doing some guitar skins for Guitar Center. They use these custom guitar skins on their guitars for gifts to reward companies they use for their outstanding service. Custom guitar skins is a great way to promote ones business or organization while offering a great gift in the process. These would be great opportunities for raffle gifts, bonuses or unique promotional gifts.

Tartan Drum Wrap added to new Risen Drum Snare
We just got the pictures back from one of our customers that ordered a snare drum wrap. The customer had a specific tartan design in mind and we were able to print it for him. Once he got his custom snare from Risen Drums he applied our wrap edge snare wrap and now he has a great snare with a graphic that he really wanted.

Acoustic Guitar Skin
Well we finally did it. We took one of Jaron’s acoustic guitars not his Taylor ha and put a skin on it. We decided the Ibanez would be cool with the Carnia Nebula graphic. It was much easier to install than we thought. Unlike the electric guitars that have pickups, tuners, bridge etc…. the acoustic just has the bridge and the hole to navigate. Really a piece of cake. No need to have a computer cut the skin. We took off the strings lined up the graphic with the backing on. then we cut a line for the bridge being carful not to make it as big as the bridge but big enough to relieve some of the pressure the bridge would exert on the graphic upon installation. then we proceeded to take off the backing and align the graphic up on the guitar. We started in the middle squeeging out the air and a couple of times having to take up the vinyl and work out a crease. we also worked the graphic toward the bridge and used heat to get it to seat close to the bridge. Once snug with the bridge we took an exacto knife and very carefully cut straight down from the edge of the bridge. we also cut the hole out with the exacto knife and went around the edge of the guitar. took about 20 minutes. It turned out pretty good we didn’t cut the edge right on the flat side of the bridge but it was our first time putting a skin on an acoustic. jaron had a concert that night and wooed the crowd with a very cool looking guitar.
New drum wrap
Jaron picked up a used set of drums and threw a drum wrap on them. Still has to cut the hole for the mic but we thought it turned out pretty sweet. he did the snare in a different color setting it off. We added the wrap edge logo to give it that extra custom look.
Worn Carbon Guitar Skin
Today we came out with another cool guitar skin. This skin has a burnt carbon finish with wear spots that show a rough wood underneath. This is sure to catch some attention and create some questions. check it out
